Brooklyn post-punks Savants have re-emerged after 2 years of preparing their debut studio album. New Junk City is out May 10th via LA based Narnack Records. The album explores the exit of the dystopian metropolis of New Junk City. Savants invite the listener in while at the same time instigating a mass exodus from the clutches of a city on the brink of ruin. Transfixed with the studio and experimentation much like idols the Beatles, Velvet Underground, and NEU!, Savants have abandoned the lo fi recordings of the past for a more mature odyssey into a new metropolitan soundtrack.
