STEVE MONITE's Only You is exactly what was needed this morning. It opened an already beautiful spring day right up with its electro-disco-funk groove. With the sun shining outside and the air warming up, not much could feel more appropriate. Soundway Records (who also released the PEDRO RICARDO LP we recently talked about) just repressed this 1981 Nigeria-only release at the beginning of the year. I'm gonna overspin it until someone takes it away from me. Lace up them boogie shoes for your work day.
