Every U.S. GIRLS record has been stellar so far, but MEG REMY has really been on a hot streak with these last three in particular. All on 4AD Records and all heavy with sounds and moods. Remy's been playing into her knack for writing art-skewed soft rock slow-burners on this run, allowing the songs room to veer ever-so-slightly into the world of AOR funk-pop. Yup, that's referencing those soothing sounds of the 70s infomercial sect. All that aside, Remy has what you need this summer. Try to catch them guitars as they sail on by!
