Their previous, Education & Recreation (Big Crown Records, 2022), was outstanding and their affiliated groups KARATE BOOGALOO and THE PRO-TEENS are equally phenomenal. Instrumental soul-jazz / jazz-funk with hip hop and psych undercurrents. If these first four cuts are indicative of the rest of the album, as I'm sure they are, it's gonna be a standout for the year.
