Kill Rock Stars dropped an announcement this morning detailing a new JAMES TOTH release! If I'm remembering right, it's been since the release of WOODEN WAND & THE SKY HIGH BAND's Second Attention LP in 2006 since the label and songwriter last worked together and that was one hell of a psych-folk record. If the rest of the album is anything like the single, we're in for a treat.
Toth is a shop favorite songwriter. For this one he's teamed back up with long-time collaborator / songwriter / producer JARVIS TAVENIERE (WOODS / PURPLE MOUNTAINS / VANISHING VOICE) and pulled in friends that stretch back through his career for support. It should be great. Look for the record June 30th on Kill Rock Stars' KRS Nashville imprint!
