Seemingly nobody had ever heard of it, and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eyet it was the geographic center of the city. Living \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethere felt analogous to my disposition as a \"rising\" \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAngeleno - highly visible and invisible at the same \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etime. I sat on my bedroom floor and wrote \"Plastic.\" \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThroughout his 10-year career, Moses Sumney has \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003econsistently evaded definition as an act of duty: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etechnicolor self-directed videos and monochrome \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eclothes; Art Rock and Black Classical; blowing into \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFashion Weeks from a small town in North Carolina; \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eseemingly infinite collaborators, but one staggering \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003evoice.
