NEWS & DISTRO UPDATES:

03/31/2008 11:59pm
I've been tinkering with the webstore again. Off of the front webstore page, I linked a new page that lists a handful of releases by indie/punk/garage labels. Mostly I've made lists of my favorite smaller 7" labels and I'm compiling their catalogs and linking them into the webstore. If any of you all are like me, you get obsessive over labels and their releases...and lists of them. I'm working on keeping them updated and labeling things that are brand new to the distro and things that are on their way into the shop in the mail.

Check it out here.

Again, I'm really just doing this because I really like these labels, some of them are run by friends, some are local and I wanted to showcase them a little bit better somehow. More labels will be added over time as well. I confess, I'm a list maker. I like it. If you follow the "buy" link, you'll find brief descriptions of the releases too.

Let me know what you think!
Buy a record player, join in on the vinyl collecting game! It's one of my most gratifying bad habits.

National Record Store Day coming up!!
It's on Saturday, April 19th. I'll have a big ol' sale and hopefully some other pretty badass stuff. Care to stop in?
Check out the details from the organizers over here....

              Record Store Day!!

Wooooohooooo!!!
Hope to see ya out. I might try to stir up some in-store stuff as well. We all know the situation of the floor, so it will probably lean more towards the acoustified side of things.

Also, thanks to John of the Mountain Goats for giving Bull City Records a shoutout over at Pitchfork the other day and everyone who pointed it out to me because I wasn't really paying attention that day.

THANKS!!!!
(BCHQ was mentioned as well!! Thanks again!)
